Nepal’s automobile sector has witnessed another shift in the premium electric mobility space, as Vaidya’s Organization has officially taken over the distributorship of Ultraviolette motorcycles in Nepal. The Bengaluru-based performance electric motorcycle brand was previously represented by the Kedia Group.
With the new partnership, Vaidya’s Organization says it plans to strengthen Ultraviolette’s presence in Nepal through expanded showroom facilities, improved service infrastructure, and wider after-sales support.
The company, which has been active in Nepal’s automobile industry for more than six decades, already represents several international mobility brands in the country.
Ultraviolette has gained attention in global EV markets for its focus on high-performance electric motorcycles featuring advanced battery technology, connected features, and futuristic styling.
The company’s flagship F77 lineup is currently available in Nepal in two variants — Original and Recon.
The F77 is powered by a 10.3 kWh battery pack and produces 30 kW of peak power along with 100 Nm of torque. According to the company, the motorcycle can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 155 km/h. It also claims an IDC-certified range of 323 kilometers on a full charge.
The motorcycle comes equipped with multiple electronic riding aids, including traction control, regenerative braking adjustment, ABS-integrated Dynamic Stability Control, and hill hold assist. These features are aimed at improving both performance and rider safety.
Alongside the existing F77 range, Vaidya’s Organization has also indicated plans to introduce the upcoming Ultraviolette X-47 Crossover in Nepal. The model has been highlighted internationally for integrating radar-based rider assistance technology within its segment.
In Nepal, the starting price of the Ultraviolette F77 Original has been set at Rs 8.11 lakh, while the F77 Recon starts at Rs 9.69 lakh. The company has opened bookings for both variants, while pre-bookings for the X-47 are expected to begin in the near future.
